Enable a Hindi keyboard or input method in your operating system before starting. Type a few words in a text editor to confirm that it produces readable Devanagari text. Then select Hindi in the practice panel.
Unicode support
TypingTestMock accepts Unicode Hindi. It does not map Latin keys to Kruti Dev, Remington or InScript by itself. An operating-system InScript keyboard may be used if it produces Unicode text. If your exam requires a legacy font, use a matching tool for that part of your preparation.
Take care with composition
Some input methods assemble a word before committing it. The practice tool waits until composition is complete before updating the reference highlight. The timer starts with your first typing input, including composition. A word still being composed when time runs out is not included until committed before the deadline.
Practise difficult combinations
Read each word before typing it. Give attention to vowel marks, punctuation and spaces. Repeat difficult combinations slowly, then return to a complete passage. Keep your input method consistent when comparing two results.
Open your operating system keyboard settings, enable a Unicode Hindi input method and test it in a plain text field. Confirm that vowel marks and combined characters appear as you expect. Then choose Hindi in the practice tool. A font change alone is not a keyboard mapping, and this website does not convert legacy-font text into Unicode.
Keep composition and submission separate
Some input methods display a temporary composition before committing the word. Finish that composition before submitting a game answer. In a timed passage, the timer can already be running while you form the word. Practise an untimed sentence first if the input method feels unfamiliar, and avoid changing layouts midway through a comparison session.
Use comparable practice conditions
Hindi code-point counts do not directly measure physical keystrokes, and a visible character may contain several counted units. Read the scoring guide before comparing Hindi WPM with English. For exam preparation, verify the required keyboard environment separately; for everyday practice, use a consistent input method and focus on readable, accurate transcription.
