SITE INFORMATION
Privacy policy
How TypingTestMock handles practice history, administration, cookies and advertising.
Practice data
Typing attempts are evaluated in your browser. The text you type is not submitted to our server. Completed results are saved in local storage on this device only when you choose to remember results. You can clear them from the My progress page or through your browser settings. No student account is required.
Game scores
Typing games can save an optional best score in this browser for each game, language and pace. Game scores are not uploaded or shared. Use the clear-best-score control in the arcade to remove a saved score, or clear this site’s browser data.
Administration and server logs
The administrator area uses an essential session cookie for sign-in and request security. Failed sign-in attempts are temporarily recorded using a hashed network address to help prevent password guessing. Hosting providers may maintain access logs containing IP addresses, requested pages and timestamps. The website operator should disclose the actual provider and retention period before public launch.
Advertising
Advertisements are disabled in the initial installation. If the operator enables Google AdSense, Google and third-party vendors may use cookies or other identifiers to serve, measure and personalise ads based on previous visits to this or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to these sites. You can manage personalised advertising at https://www.google.com/settings/ads and learn about participating vendors at https://www.aboutads.info.
Your choices
Where required, the operator must configure a Google-certified consent management platform before enabling advertising. Consent choices must be available through that platform. Browser controls also let you remove local data and limit cookies. Disabling optional storage does not prevent you from practising.
Contact and updates
Use the Contact page for privacy questions. Before public launch, the operator must add their identity, contact details, hosting retention information and any additional services used. This policy must reflect the actual deployment and be reviewed when services change.
