10-minute typing test: Sustained passage practice
Ten-minute practice asks you to maintain reading attention after the opening has become familiar. Check your input method and sitting position before beginning. If you lose your place, identify a distinctive word or punctuation mark near the last phrase you entered.
Review this session before trying again
This duration can be useful for a sustained rehearsal, but selecting ten minutes does not reproduce an official exam. Check your applicable recruitment instructions separately. Record interruptions and changes of equipment rather than comparing those attempts directly with uninterrupted sessions.
Choose language and understand the timer
Choose English or Hindi in the tool above. The timer begins with your first input, and this page opens with 10 minutes selected. You can change the duration before starting. The practice result uses actual elapsed time if you finish early. Hindi requires a Unicode input method on your device.
Compare another duration
Use a one-minute baseline, two-minute rhythm check, five-minute practice session, ten-minute rehearsal or fifteen-minute session. Keep different durations separate in your notes. Read how scores work before comparing WPM and accuracy.
